Immediately after completing her formal studies in fashion design, Vundela Charitha embarked on a mission to reimagine how Indian women experience ethnic and festive couture. Having worked hands-on with textiles, silhouette construction, and contemporary styling, she saw a glaring gap between impersonal ready-made racks and expensive, inaccessible designer boutiques.
She founded Aveira to revive the sacred bond between the wearer and the craftsman. Inspired by the timeless heritage of South Indian silk traditions, intricate Maggam (Aari and Zardosi) hand-embroidery, and precise bespoke blouse tailoring, Aveira was built as an atelier where every piece is made thoughtfully to order.
Under Charitha's creative direction, Aveira rejects the rushed pace of fast fashion. Instead, we collaborate directly with generational master karigars (artisans) across Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh, ensuring every cut, neck depth, sleeve finish, and thread pattern is customized to celebrate each client's individual grace.
